School Notes

  • Cornerstone provides program and tuition options that meet families' needs.  In addition to the times listed below, we also offer early drop-off beginning at 8:00am. Children enrolled after 3:00 pm enjoy our multi-age aftercare program. All of our programs follow the New Jersey Teaching & Learning Expectations for pre-schools. We offer a play-based curriculum that inspires children to become lifelong learners.
  •  NurseryChildren must be two years old by March 30th.
  • The Nursery class is perfect for children just starting school or for families who want a part-time program.  A play-based curriculum lets children explore various interest areas. Art, music, literature, blocks, along with sensory and dramatic play are part of our curriculum. A full-time option is also available.
  • Choose 2, 3, 4 or 5 days per week: M T W Th F
  • (Our youngest students benefit from consecutive days if possible)
  • 9:00-11:30, 9:00-1:00, 9:00-3:00, or 9:00-5:30 
  • PreK
  • The Pre-K class is geared toward children who are ready for "a little more". Open-ended materials, walking field trips, and an interactive curriculum bring learning to life for inquisitive minds. Increasing language development and social skills are a focus in this class. Children must be three years old by September 30th.  Our Pre-K consists of mixed-age classes for three- and four-year-olds.

  •  9:00-1:00, 9:00-3:00, or 9:00-5:30
  •  Kindergarten Prep
  • Children must be four years old by September 30th. Our Kindergarten Prep class fosters student creativity, independence and social development. This is accomplished through age-appropriate opportunities to practice self-reliance and self-regulation skills. The class day is structure to include activities geared toward independent learning, as well as, small and large group instruction. In K-Prep we believe that a socially prepared student will flourish in kindergarten having benefited from our balance of thematic instruction, open-ended exploration, academic exposure, and positive social interactions.

  • 9:00-1:00, 9:00-3:00, or 9:00-5:30 
  •  Kindergarten
  • Children must be five years old by September 30th.. 
  • The Kindergarten class provides a foundation in the skills children need to succeed in a formal school setting. Certified teachers guide children in an engaging curriculum that follows New Jersey state standards. Project based learning and year long themes determined by student interest, bring all area of the curriculum together for our students. Literacy, numeracy, science and social studies are presented through interactive activities.
  • Monday to Friday
  • After School Care is available until 5:30pm.
