GSM teaches a bilingual program of inquiry and is an IB PYP candidate school. In the context of a globally connected future we are teaching relevant skills regarding the self and the world we are shaping. GSM values academics, arts and activism and raises future leaders that dare to make a difference.
The English curriculum that is offered starting in Kindergarten, exposes students to the modern standards of ELA (English Language Arts), complementing the German Curriculum that stems from a long tradition of educational pedagogy.
A new location was added this year to offer full German immersion Preschool for learners ages 3 and 4.
Music and dance are an integral part of the ambitiously blended curriculum that adheres to internationally benchmarked standards. Knowledge of German is not a prerequisite to apply.

GSM is the first bilingual English-German school in the borough of Manhattan and will grow one grade per year into a full K-5 program. The Tribeca location is well situated, surrounded by parks and playgrounds and easily accessible by the Chambers Street station (A,C, 2, 3) and City Hall station (R and W). GSM is currently enrolling grades Pre-K through 3rd grade. Students without prior knowledge of German language are encouraged to apply.
