School Notes

  • The International School of San Antonio (ISSA) is a private language immersion school serving grades Pre-K3 through 5th grade.
  • School Motto: Worlds Begin here
  • Beginning with three-year-olds, our comprehensive program offers a well-rounded, rigorous education that meets and exceeds Texas state education standards and is delivered in either Mandarin Chinese, French, or Spanish.
  • Instruction in English is added in Pre-K4 and is increased in elementary school to enable full biliteracy. A third language of choice, music, arts, science, and physical education are also included in the curriculum.
  • Small class sizes allow for more interaction with and attention from the teacher. Children graduate from ISSA as biliterate global citizens and are well prepared for middle school in either of their acquired languages.
  • We invite you to schedule a campus tour to experience our language immersion classrooms, meet our dedicated teachers, and learn more about the many opportunities ISSA has to offer.

This is a fantastic school. My son has thrived since coming to this school a few months ago. His Spanish is improving, as well as his motor skills with drawing and pre-writing. He brings home the best art projects. The daily pictures and videos show how excited he is to be there and how much he is concentrating on his work. I love that the school also offers a mini-festival on one Saturday each month. We love this school and he's definitely staying for elementary school.
