Who We Are
Founded in 1990, JRHS is a regional 9-12 Christian high school, featuring both college and career preparatory programs, exemplified in our traditional and project curricula. Our motto, "we are more than conquerors" permeates the spiritual, intellectual, social and aesthetic pursuits of JRHS.

Mission
JRHS is a Christian Community of Students and Faculty pursing wisdom, knowledge and understanding, and is committed to raising this generation of youth to be effective leaders for Jesus Christ.

Vision
As an academic institution, JRHS seeks to glorify God by training up students to lead lives prioritizing Christian mission and become examples of integrity and truth, and to be responsible, knowledgeable, skillful leaders in a secular world.

Educational Philosophy
We believe that:
  • We believe that all truth is God`s truth and that He is the source of truth. Effective education involves the development of the whole person, beginning with a sound rooting in truth, which will then inform all studies.
  • The Bible is the revealed, inerrant word of God given to us as a guide for daily living.
  • The goal is that each person (student, parent, and faculty) have a personal relationship with God, understanding and believing in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and is committed to life in the local church.
  • We believe that education is done in a working partnership with the home and family. Ultimately, each family is responsible to raise, train and educate a child; the Christian school is a partner to this end goal.
  • All of God`s children are endowed with His gifts and talents, there to be developed for the furthering of His Kingdom work. Each person has a distinct calling or mission, which if pursued with diligence, will result in a fulfilling and productive life.
Core Values
Our Core Values are derived from our mission, philosophy and vision:
  • Christ Centered- a biblical world view that places Christ as preeminent
  • Absolute Truth unchanging truth has everyday relevance in our lives
  • Community relationships that model the attributes of Christ and the fruits of the Spirit
  • Excellence striving for our best effort and maximum potential
  • Leadership training and equipping for lifelong Kingdom work

A high school educational experience to remember for a lifetime! Both of our children are Jesse Remington High School (JRHS) alumnae and I openly admit, our entire family *loved* the experience. JRHS is highly regarded for pioneering traditional- (e.g. "classroom-based" humanities, English, math, and sciences) and project-based learning which has included projects such as robotics, timber framing, makerspace, maple sugaring, genealogy, drama, yearbook, leathercraft, geography, ecology, botany, to name just a few. In addition to offering several team sports, Jesse's weekly Outdoor Education classes are beyond anything I could have imagined possible, from skiing, hiking, archery, ice skating, basketball, volleyball, to birdwatching, marksmanship, and many others. Jesse`s Fall Mountain Retreats were also one of the school year highlights where the entire school traveled to northern New Hampshire`s White Mountains and spent a couple of days and nights together, pushing themselves with hikes of different degrees of difficulty, but most importantly, having time with their schoolmates and faculty to develop, or strengthen, the bonds which are a hallmark characteristic of Jesse Remington.Though both of our children are though presently away at college, they *can`t wait* to get back home and visit their old high school, coaching and mentoring the underclassmen during their academic portfolios, serving as guides during open houses, and other opportunities to participate as well as catch-up with others. Above all, the sense of extended community offered through Jesse Remington High School is like nothing we could have envisioned or experienced before!

The decision to send our son to Jesse Remington High School was, hands down, the best educational decision we ever made! It was undoubtedly the best money we have ever spent! We truly invested in our son's future. From the classical curriculum to the project based learning to the Outdoor Ed experiences, JRHS is a high school like no other. The support and investment the students receive from the staff and faculty is unparalleled. Our son has been challenged, both academically and spiritually. We have no doubt that he is solid in his faith and his academics and will be ready to face the world on the day he graduates.

Jesse Remington High School develops the whole student: Academics, Spiritual, Physical, Formative Relationships, Skill Development and fosters a high level of personal and professional development. As an administrator who is seeing the great work in student's lives, and also a parent whose daughter graduated in 2020, this school will help your student to flourish. I highly recommend.

We are in our third year with Jesse Remington High School. We currently have a Junior and Freshman attending. There is so much to value, love and appreciate about the school, it's hard to sum up in a review. The campus is unique in a country-like setting, students learn necessary life-long skills through the project based learning programs, the academics prepare students for college and life beyond, the Outdoor Education program is exceptional, weekly Chapel and Koinonia groups help with spiritual formation and accountability, there are sports and club offerings where there is something for everyone, but above all that, the Christian Community is what truly is a blessing at this school. It really is a partnership between parents and the faculty & staff. It is a safe place for our kids spiritually, emotionally and physically.

I have 3 kids that have attended JRHS. As a parent, I love that Jesus is at the center of the school. Beautiful campus that encourages students to go outside between classes. Great hands on learning thru projects and labs. JRHS does a great job preparing students for their next step after high school with strong academics and programs that create effective leaders for Jesus.
