Mission Viejo Montessori founded in 2000 serves children between the precious ages of infant through kindergarten. As a first time school experience for most students, we aim to be a home away from home.
Teachers assist students in developing skills such as potty training and independence, as well as cultivating a passion for learning.
Dedicated staff, a renovated facility, and the foundations of Montessori curriculum in a nurturing setting encourage children to reach their highest potential.

Mission Viejo Montessorioffers care and educationfor children ages 6 weeks through Kindergarten. We feature anemphasis onmusic, drama, and Spanish languagecurriculum in addition to our high academic standards. Weutilize the Montessori Method andmaterials, have small class sizesandincorporate a multicultural curriculum. Our classrooms focus on core studies to develop and strengthen skills in math, reading, writing, botany, zoology, and geography. Mission Viejo Montessori School is committed to the development of every child's full potential. Our educational philosophy embraces a fusion of styles based on the original model developed by Maria Montessori, who believed the hand is the tool to the mind; Socrates, who encouraged interaction between teacher and student; and an environment that instills a love of active learning, and fosters academic excellence. We also have a strong arts program that provides experiences that enable students to acquire a foundation of skills for lifelong achievement. Studies have shown that the arts enhance academic learning, especially reading.
