  • Mission Viejo Montessori offers care and education for children ages 6 weeks through Kindergarten. We feature an emphasis on music, drama, and Spanish language curriculum in addition to our high academic standards. We utilize the Montessori Method and materials, have small class sizes and incorporate a multicultural curriculum. Our classrooms focus on core studies to develop and strengthen skills in math, reading, writing, botany, zoology, and geography. Mission Viejo Montessori School is committed to the development of every child's full potential. Our educational philosophy embraces a fusion of styles based on the original model developed by Maria Montessori, who believed the hand is the tool to the mind; Socrates, who encouraged interaction between teacher and student; and an environment that instills a love of active learning, and fosters academic excellence. We also have a strong arts program that provides experiences that enable students to acquire a foundation of skills for lifelong achievement. Studies have shown that the arts enhance academic learning, especially reading. We provide children with a nurturing and challenging curriculum to foster a life long love of learning and independence!
