Montessori School Of Wooster Ohio

  • At the Montessori School of Wooster, we are dedicated to the Montessori philosophy and to fostering self-confidence and creative thinking in an environment of peace, respect and compassion. We provide an individualized, hands-on approach to education, helping each child to progress at her/his own rate. Children learn to respect each other and their environment, and to begin to understand the importance of peace. We recognize that our role as teachers is not so much to teach as to help the children to learn independently. We strive to ask questions that challenge our students to discover the answers for themselves and to be independent thinkers.
