Mountain Sun is Brevard's only independent school and was formed as a non-profit parent-driven effort to create a caring holistic community school that nurtures each child's passion and unique abilities. Our mission is to preserve the child's natural curiosity and love of learning and foster respect and responsibility for themselves, their community, and the natural world. Our small class sizes and multi age classrooms create an environment where each child is challenged and inspired to be their best selves academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
