Northern Academy Photo #2 - With state of the art dance studios and award-winning professional dance teachers, students at the Northern Academy have a unique opportunity to develop their technique, improve their flexibility, and learn how to perform.
Northern Academy Photo #3 - Northern Academy provides four signature programs (tracks) academics, fine arts, music and dance. Many students spend at least two periods per day studying either dance, music, fine arts or science projects.
Northern Academy Photo #4 - Every afternoon and evening, music students liven up the school with the sounds of their instruments. Their mood tends to be playful and light, and their academic achievements are strong. After all, the musical environment encourages a joyful feeling and the music faculty place strong emphasis on cultivating moral character and achieving academic and artistic excellence.
Northern Academy Photo #5 - Fine Arts track students develop a solid foundation in the visual arts, gaining a deep understanding of the great aesthetics passed down over millennia of human civilization in both the West and the East. These aesthetics, along with the discipline, creative thinking, and bold initiative they require, lay the foundation in fine arts for college studies in both arts and non-arts majors.
Northern Academy Photo #6 - Out of 35 international university and business entries, the two projects done by Northern Academy students in the A World Bridge (AWB) program were awarded the 4th and 5th place award in world challenge Finland 2018.
Northern Academy is a college preparatory school with grades 6 through 12.
