She is not afraid to show her students that she is a lifelong learner and that mistakes are normal, even as an adult. She works hard to meet each student where they are and encourages students to push themselves in all that they do, both in and out the classroom. For 13 years, she has formed students as disciples and led numerous committees and professional learning groups within her school community. hide

The administrators, staff and teachers at ICOLPH are absolutely amazing! Throughout the years, they have never faltered in their absolute dedication and commitment to the students, and to their growth as individuals, as citizens and as part of the faith community.

Our family moved to Everett after a tour of ICOLPH school back in 2006. We wanted to be close to this very special place, and over the last 14 years all 5 of our children have attended during some point of their school years. We now have our youngest in 2nd grade with Mrs. Barashkoff. Online learning demonstrates her skill, creativity, and attention to each student's unique needs. The responsiveness and professionalism of the entire staff shows in the way they've handled this new learning style. Of course our son is looking forward to getting back into the building with his fellow students, but, for now, he's getting a high-quality experience because ICOLPH school is staffed by the best!

We have been members of this school family for eight years and I`m so thankful that we chose to send our children to ICOLPH. When we decided to come to this school, we chose it not only for the rigorous education our children would receive but also because their hearts would be nurtured at the same time. We place a tremendous value on the sense of community this school instills-parental involvement is a huge aspect, and all the kids (PK-8) know one another by name. In the midst of these unprecedented times, I`m particularly glad we are at ICOLPH. The school's commitment to our children, and us as parents, has never been more evident-from their quick pivot to immediate and robust distanced education, to their transparency and depth of communication, this school is top-notch.

I have been so pleased with ICOLPH's response to online learning, especially this fall. We were able to have individual meetings with my child's teachers before the year began. The small class sizes have allowed for individual attention from the teachers. I feel confident in the instruction that my child is receiving. We have received clear information from the school administration. ICOLPH lives up to its mission of challenging academics, leadership development, collaborative learning, and a community that values diversity.

Committed teachers & staff, challenging academics in a nurturing environment. In these unprecedented times, their low student-teacher ratio and personal approach to each student provides the ideal learning environment. When quarantine shuttered schools last March, the staff quickly pivoted to distance learning, helping students (and parents!) maintain a sense of normalcy. As we start a new school year continuing with distance learning for the time being, they are well-prepared to teach and support the success of all students.

This Schools's strong community, robust faith, and the caring nature of the teachers and administrators have made our son's experience excellent. The staff works hard to get to know each student and meet their unique learning needs. We could not be happier with this amazing school.
