Slater Montessori Academy

The Slater Montessori school is one of the many independent Montessori schools.
Our schools pride themselves on providing quality education. We provide a variety of; developmentally appropriate learning activities within a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment.
We emphasize learning through all five senses, not just through listening, watching, or reading.
Children in our classes learn at their own, individual pace and according to their own choice of activities from hundreds of possibilities.
We empower each child to strive to attain their greatest potential within the classroom setting that builds communication between teachers and parents to maintain a climate of mutual cooperation.
All subjects at Slater Montessori Academy are interwoven. For example history, art, music, math, and science are not isolated from each other and a child studies them in any order he chooses, moving through all in a unique way for each child.
The children enjoy all that the capability to read provides.
Out new program has the children excited about reading with their self correction manuals, which encourage the the children to read and learn comprehension. The children learn to read phonetically.
