My husband and I have 3 children, recent graduate, a fifth grader and a preschooler. My 2 older children have made the high or 2nd honor roll every quarter. They have scored above average on standardized testing. They are very independent doing homework and studying for tests. My high school student has continued his achievements in high school with a current GPA of 3.943. I believe that St. Anthony has played a part in that in his success. The teaching staff is caring and compassionate. They treat my child as if they were their own. There is not a option for failure, they will do whatever they can to help a child academically, even on their own time. I can't say enough about our athletics program. The teaching of basic basketball fundamentals at an early age, have made for a competitive junior high and high school play. My children are motivated to do well academically to be rewarded with playing sports. St. Anthony School is not just a school, it is a community, a family, a place where my kids call home. It is a safe environment where they know they will be protected. My husband and his siblings attended St. Anthony many years ago and now our child are continuing in the legacy. I know in twenty five years from now, they will visit St. Anthony Community again and they will see old friends and share memories just like their father does today.

St. Anthony of Padua School, Lorain is a thriving Catholic School that is highly accredited. The teachers truly care about the students and have wonderful communication with parents about their child's academic progress. The quality of instruction provided to the students is innovative and hands-on learning at it's best. I like how the students are active participants through service projects in the church and Lorain community. The preschool program is wonderfully structured for all students. We are absolutely thrilled to be a new part of the Saint Anthony Parish Family here in Lorain, Ohio. From the Principal all the way to the volunteers it has been a wonderful new adventure. Everyone has been so welcoming and loving and the second grade teacher Mrs. O is the most thorough caring teacher I have ever met. Her attention to detail and committment to the education of her students is truly astonishing! Anyone looking to give their child the best chance of a high quality education should take a look here. We are new to Lorain and looked at 5 different schools. Saint Anthony is worth every penny and we truly thank God for them being here and providing an a faith based rewarding education. Thank you Saint Anthony and all the wonderful people who work there.
