Established in 1946, the school has been named as a U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon School three times and is the only elementary school so designated in Tyler.
The mission of St. Gregory is the fulfillment of the educational ministry of the Catholic Church and has as its primary goal the on going formation of the Christian person.
It aims at the development of the individual's moral, intellectual, social, cultural, and physical endowments.
