St. John's Academy is a Catholic school dedicated to the
mission of educating students both academically and spiritually, in
an environment focused on God's teachings. The St. John's community
reflects the desire to create an environment that allows our
students to grow into mature and fulfilled people who are
responsible, who are faith-filled and who are empowered to improve
the quality of their own and others futures. At St. John's we share
a common concern for the intellectual, spiritual, moral, physical
and emotional growth of each child. Our Catholic school provides
the setting for developing and strengthening a Christian Community
of Faith, while still providing an ecumenical atmosphere for
education. The faculty and staff endeavors not only to educate
academically but spiritually as well. As we embark upon a new
millennium our students will be faced with many unique challenges.
The faculty and staff will provide these students with moral
guidelines and attempt to guide their students to acquire knowledge
and skills, learn concepts, observe healthy relationships, draw
logical conclusions and make judgments.

Love the school, love the parish! 2 of my children graduated SJA and my youngest child is still there. The school is better for the recent staff changes. I loved the teachers that retired- but it was time for new faces. There is a renewed sense of a faith-based school since the pastor and principal work so well together. It is so refreshing. SJA did a great job in the toughest year and we can't wait to get back in September. Truly, a great school and community all around.

SJA has really impressed me- we look too many years as we have 2 children in the primary grades. The academics are far more rigorous than our past Catholic school, the principal and the teachers are kind and talented, and the facilities are excellent. The entire school and Parish is growing in the right direction. So happy we switched!

SJA gives students a VERY solid academic foundation while teaching the whole child- nurturing each student along the way. Graduates are very successful and capable of handling advanced course loads in high school.

I went to school at Saint John`s and 3 of my 4 children graduated from SjA with my fourth in 6th grade. My children have gone on to strong high schools and colleges and are succeeding with the foundation SJA has helped form not only In Strong academic standards , but a caring community that promotes Christ like values and service .

My son is in kindergarten at St. John's and he loves it! He's so happy and has learned so much, academically and beyond. The teachers and staff are so warm and welcoming. Everyone knows everyone. It's such a lovely, tight knit community of families.
