Turnabout Stillwater Academy's model has been tested, tried, proven, and perfected for over two decades and has helped literally hundreds of teens dealing with a wide array of issues from across the country.
Turnabout / Stillwater Academy is a year round program, and can accept new students at any time.
Acceptance is based on a combination of a review of the student's current and past history of behavior, and consultation with parents and/or professionals.
We serve 30-40 girls and boys who have a history of mild to moderate emotional and behavioral problems, low self-esteem, defiance, academic underachievement, mild substance abuse, and/or family conflict.
Turnabout gives teens the chance to step out of their destructive patterns, make a choice to change for the better, make good decisions, experience real success, develop healthy relationships, and then move back into a new & better life that many of them may have not dreamed possible.

Stillwater Academy is an outstanding school for troubled teens. The combination of therapy and education is top-notch. The staff is incredibly caring, and they've helped our family through a challenging time. Our child has grown immensely, and we're so thankful for the impact this school has had on them.

Amazing program with professional and caring staff. They literally saved my daughter and my family. It is a safe environment with a program philosophy that offers life changing skills for each individual child. I'd do it over again a hundred times.
