The Hebrew Academy is committed to the idea of an integrated general and Judaic curriculum that provides a high quality education in a challenging and supportive environment.
At The Hebrew Academy we are dedicated to the development of the unique potential within each child in a nurturing atmosphere that encourages intellectual, social, ethical, and spiritual growth.
THA's Early Childhood program facilitates the development of the whole child - social, intellectual, emotional and physical - through developmentally appropriate activities. At The Hebrew Academy, we provide creative hands-on activities that allow children to learn through experimentation and exploration. We stimulate creativity and foster a positive self-image in each child.
Our goal in grades one through five is to teach above and beyond the necessary skills in a supportive and success-oriented environment. To achieve this, we use cooperative groups, games, learning centers and stations. We emphasize writing and reading for learning and pleasure. Students will be challenged to maximize their abilities. They will be exposed to a wide variety of activities and ideas. Moreover, students will be motivated to develop a lifelong appreciation for the learning experience. Frequent communication between school and home ensure that we work together to help each child reach their potential.
The Hebrew Academy is accredited by the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools (NJAIS) as well as the Middle States Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools. (MSC-CESS).
