Clare Booth Luce, playwright, novelist, first U.S. Congresswoman from Connecticut, and ambassador to Italy, "sought to encourage women to enter, study, graduate, and teach" in the fields of science, engineering, and mathematics.

In the past few years our students were accepted to schools such as Stanford, Syracuse, Cal Poly, Cornell, George Washington University, Georgia Tech, Ringling College of Art & Design, MIT, UC Davis, UC Berkley, UCLA, Villanova University and more.
Villanova Preparatory School was founded in 1924 as a Catholic school in the Augustinian tradition and is the only boarding school in California to offer the IB Diploma Programme.
