At White Meadow Temple Nursery & Kindergarten, The children are back into the swing of things and enjoying the snow days here and there.
Although it is snowy and cold here in NJ, it will soon be spring in Israel and time to celebrate Tu Bishvat the Birthday of the Trees.
The students will be learning just how important trees, are as well as different ways to preserve the environment.
I'm sure there will be tree projects sprouting in all of our classrooms.
Academics are generally taught in the morning when students are better able to focus and concentrate.
Subjects include language arts, Hebrew, mathematics, science and social studies.
After lunch and recess, the children enjoy special programs such as computers, fine art, art history, physical education and music.
The Kindergarten class maintains an excellent staff/student ratio which enables children to move at their own page.
Teachers are able to work in small groups, helping to facilitate mastery of each subject.
