The Accelerator school is proud to provide an exciting learning platform where student athletes can feel part of something much larger than an ordinary, outdated educational system.
Giving the student the independence to make decisions in an environment that provides a diverse amount of support, allows students to reach their goals in a safe but challenging setting.
We encourage self-regulation and goal setting to help students to grow and develop as they enter the next stages of their lives.
Our strong student/staff relationships help to provide motivation, which leads to inspiration, and a mindset to achieve success for all students. Our small class and training sizes allows students to have their individual needs met, as well as a chance to learn new skills outside of a traditional curriculum.

Accelerator School Metro DC provides a welcoming environment that motivates our 10th grade son each day. The morning soccer training has not only improved his skills and confidence, but it also gives him that mental clarity he needs before class. Our son receives positive support and flexibility from his online teachers and in school instructors. We cherish the fact that he takes responsibility for his education by setting and completing his own goals. He is learning at his own pace and it shows in his greatly improved grades. We also like the inclusion of team building exercises and leadership activities the school offers. It has enabled our son to develop good friendships and an appreciation for his community. The Accelerator School's innovative approach to education and athletics is a great opportunity for young student athletes..

We have a rising 8th grader at home. With Pandemic knocking our doors, schools shifting to full time on-line program we were finding it challenging for our middle schooler to enjoy academics. He is also an athlete and so not being able to play soccer during lock down threw him off a bit. We were constantly looking for a school which would have a combined program with accelerated academics and soccer program embedded into it. And we're lucky to find Accelerator School DC, and no looking back since then. He is thriving in academics and has shown tremendous improvements in soccer skills/execution. We are very happy with our decision and will continue to use the school's services and guidance for my child.

I have two daughters at the Accelerator School. I can`t say enough about how the school has worked to ensure their success! Both girls are flourishing despite struggling in their previous schools. The individualized attention, ongoing guidance, and nurturing environment have not only boosted their academic scores but their confidence, as well. The soccer training has also been hugely beneficial to my youngest daughter (my oldest daughter doesn't play soccer)-her kicks are stronger, her plays are faster, and her game is more strategic. I`m confident that this can be attributed to the great training that she`s receiving, in addition to practicing with a talented and like-minded group of boys and girls. My husband said it best when he said that the school is more than a school--it`s like a team. Parents, teachers, coaches and students work together for one common goal-the students` athletic and academic future. So appreciative of AS DC Metro for all of the effort they put into making the girls the best versions of themselves-they are truly thriving!
