Cristo Rey Jesuit, a Catholic high school, combines personal responsibility, academic rigor, and a corporate work-study program to empower students of all faiths from economically challenged families to reach their full potential. The school opened its doors with some 80 students in August 2009. Currently, all of the school`s nearly 500 students participate in the Corporate Work-Study Program where four students share one entry-level position at corporations around the city to pay half of their education costs. 100% of the students from each of Cristo Rey Jesuit`s graduating classes has been accepted into college.

- Cristo Rey Jesuit is designed exclusively to serve families who demonstrate a financial need. Families must qualify (fall at or below a designated income cap) in order to qualify for admission to Cristo Rey Jesuit College Preparatory. All student also must be at least14 year old by September 1 of their entry year into Cristo Rey Jesuit and must also be authorized to work in the United States, as all students partipate in our one-of-a-kind Corporate Work-Study Program. Finally, student must be able to demonstrate their willingness to be in a College Preparatory School and be able to maintain the rigor that it requires.
