By the fall of 1962, the enrollment was up to 600 students, and at the end of the second year, the first grade was discontinued.
A second wing was added to the school in 1968 and at that time the first grade was reinstated and a kindergarten was added.
A preschool became part of the educational program beginning with the 1978-79 school year.
A new church was dedicated in March, 1979. The original church became the Father Kelly Center, adding a sports and activity facility to the school and parish.
Cur of Ars Parish and School received its name from Archbishop Hunkeler.
