Escondido Christian School offers a full range of educational services in well-equipped facilities.
Need-based financial aid is available. Escondido Christian is a ministry of Escondido Christian Church. School philosophy begins with the conviction that every child is uniquely imprinted with the image of God.
In order to reach the potential God has for each child, we believe that children should have a well-rounded program that encourages them to develop socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and spiritually.
Escondido Christian School works together with home and church to provide a Christ-centered spiritual, academic, and physical foundation in a Biblically-based environment, guiding young people into a daily walk with Jesus Christ to produce Kingdom-driven citizens.

Escondido Christian School embraces the motto "Home, School,
Church . . . Partners in Christian Education." Believing that it is
the primary responsibility of the parents to educate and train
their children, ("Train a child in the way he should go, and when
he is old, he will not turn from it. Prov. 22:6; Deut. 6:
4-9), ECS strives to come alongside the home, in working together
with the church, to equip and inspire young minds in their pursuit
of Godly wisdom as they work to gain a deeper understanding and
intimate knowledge of their Maker and the world He has created for
them. It is our belief that every human being is uniquely imprinted
with the image of God ("Then God said, 'Let us make man in our
image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea
and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth,
and over all the creatures that move along the ground.'" Gen. 1:26)
and should therefore be given every opportunity to discover and
pursue their highest God-given potential. It is our high calling to
create a safe and nurturing, Christ-centered environment where
students can grow and be challenged both spiritually and
academically; as well as, socially and physically. Understanding
the awesome power of God's transforming love ("Therefore, if anyone
is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has
come!" II Cor. 5:17), we at ECS remain steadfast in
continually presenting the Gospel message and giving opportunity
for all students to come to know Jesus Christ as their personal
Lord and Savior.

The application deadline for Escondido Christian School is Mar. 15 / Aug. 15 / rolling (applications are due on Mar. 15 / Aug. 15 but additional applications are reviewed year-round as space permits ).

Escondido Christian School is located in the Central Escondido neighborhood of Escondido, CA. There are 3 other private schools located in Central Escondido.
I absolutely love this school, the staff is caring and know all the students by name. The principal is at drop off early in the Morning and greets the children and parents. My son has attended since kindergarten, he is now in high school and ECS really helped set a good foundation that my son is able to carry with him through high school and values that will help him through adult hood.

My son flourishes at ECS. . .
Everyone at this school is committed to providing a Christ centered education for the children. You can see and feel the Lords love flow thru them and into these children's lives. Escondido Christian school has been a huge blessing to us.
I am thankful the caring staff and enrichment my son is receiving.

My son is now in his second year attending ECS. There are no words to describe the LOVE... attention, compassion, and support... my son and we as parents receive from all the school staff ongoing. Because of this CARING... eviroment my son is thriving....educationally. We as parents need to relaize this is the most critical factor in selecting a school. Somewhere where it's not just said ....or in a mission statement but truly demonstrated..... "Every child is unique and supported in their own individual way".
My son previously attended two very high cost "Christian" schools south and west of the Escondido area and all along ECS was tight here in Escondido where we live!
My son, still often ask me, "Mommy, why did it take you so long to find ECS"?
My answer is always the same, I''m sorry....but here you will stay.... until you graduate!!

My three children have all blossomed at ECS. I am so thankful for the caring staff, wonderful enrichment programs, and exciting sports. The reasonably-priced before-and after school daycare is a godsend!
