School Reviews
5 Before attending Faith Christian Academy, my daugjter was in regular public schools and though some were ok nothing compares to where she is at now on the academics chart. In public school they did not cater to her needs as she has a disability, the ese classes really were not all that great. They still had full classrooms, not alot of one on one, everything was rushed and still in a normal type setting classroom. In public school my daughter was on the verge of retaining as they call themselves a no child left behind district yea right, all they care about is fcat fcat fcat! Your child can do good all year but If they fail the fcat they fail that grade. I was so happy when my daughter's scholarship with McCay went through I signed her up with Faith Christian Academy and It was the best academic choice I have ever made for her. Within the first few weeks I had noticed a great deal of improvement in her academically and as a person. She had struggled a great deal in reading due to her disability. But the way they teach the kids with there special technique pace they use my daughter has been on board and reading well. The first 9 weeks her report card came home I was in tears NEVER had my daughter who struggled k 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade ever recieve all A's academically and a B in bible. I was shocked and very very proud. My daughter is 10 yrs old and in the 4th grade and though she retained a yr in public school she feels untouchable at Faith Christian Academy. When the second 9 weeks of her being there her report card was straight A's. And I can't wait to see her report card this upcoming 9weeks. You know your child who has struggled a great deal in public school is doing exceptional at this school choice when they can stand up in front of you and reherse memorized bible verses amongst many other things. I found this school sooo exceptional I am signing up for step up for students scholarship for my other 3 children to attend this upcoming year because I only want
The best for my children, and this school is by far the best! Upon registering my daughter I knew upfront this was the perfect school,
As Mrs. Debbie was so confident that I would see progress and her assurance is what I needed for my daughter. When you have staff who believes in your child and wants the same outcome as you, you can't go wrong. And we didn't. My daughter's teachers are husband and wife Mrs. Lori and Mr. Micheal I have never met such real individuals. If your child is doing great they tell you they are, they give them the confidence, the boost they need to succeed and they are there providing one on one if needed. If your child is doing poor in something they tell you right then they don't let the issue marinate and then you see it on there report card as was a situation I had in public schools, they find another solution to help the child get it. They don't sugar coat when it comes to your childs academic needs. They actually Love your child like they are their own. They won't give up on your child, they don't rush them either. They are a goal set program and if your child wants to succeed they will because at this school
Everyone is your support system! Being that we are christians I love the fact that my daughter is so eager to go to school everyday to learn more and more about the teachings of our wonderful God! She has such a great spirit about herself she tells everyone including strangers that God loves them and I can't help but to be thankful to the staff at this school. If your looking for a five star school, this is it! - Posted by Parent - alexa |
