First Baptist Academy Photo #1 - Each student has their own computer work station in a pleasantly arranged classroom. They may decorate their workspace as they wish, subject to academy rules. Teachers and assistants are always available to help students. Activities include fund raisers, field trips, field days, chapel, science fair, class parties, programs and performances, big sibling/little sibling between upper-age and lower-age classrooms, and many others.
First Baptist Accelerated Academy is a distinctively Christian school that combines biblically based Christian character building with technology to produce well-trained ambassadors for Christ who are academically prepared for the best universities.

School Notes

First Baptist Accelerated Academy, the school "on the hill" adopted its new name when the school recently expanded to include 12th grade. While the school itself has been a mainstay of Thousand Oaks for decades, the curricula, methodologies, and mode of instructional delivery has changed to reflect our modern, technological era.

Students at FBAA receive a blended education:

  • face to face classroom interaction with teachers and peers
  • a lively student body life with many fundraisers and special events
  • a "family" atmosphere of integrated age levels
  • a distinctively Christian education
  • academically superior curriculum
  • state-of-the-art computerized core classes
  • full college preparatory scheduling
  • availability of generous financial aid
  • solid biblical teaching at all grade levels
  • classical studies
