The Frederick Adventist Academy (FAA) is a Seventh-day Adventist elementary school offering kindergarten through eighth grade.
FAA offers several extracurricular activites in athletics, clubs, and the arts.
FAA provides an extensive experiential learning environment, including field trips and multi-day study tours to historical and educational sites.
FAA emphasizes respect, honesty, and diligence in its' academics and social environment.
FAA promotes spiritual ideals, service to God and humanity, academic excellence, physical achievements and Christian social development. FAA's goal is to help each child reach their highest potential.
The Seventh-day Adventist philosophy of education is based upon the belief that God is the Creator - that He made man in His own image, perfect in every way, with great intellectual powers, a child of God.
FAA believes that God has ordained a plan of education for His people, an education that is Christ-centered.
FAA accepted the Biblical principle, "Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old, he will not depart from it.".
