Gateway Christian Schools

Gateway Eagles is one of the four campuses of Gateway Christian Schools, located in Kitsap County, Washington. Gateway Christian Schools is a private, bibically based school district offering care and education from 12 months through 12th grade. Established in 1974, Gateway Christian Schools is owned and operated by Gateway Fellowship.
Located on 6 acres near downtown Poulsbo, Gateway Eagles serves K-5 students and their families who desire an accredited Christian education for their children. Gateway plans to welcome over 100 children for the 2022-23 school year.
Admission is based on assessment testing, student transcripts, recommendations from previous teachers, and a family interview. The elementary years are an important time of social and academic development for students.
Our intentionally smaller class sizes ensure students receive the individual attention and care they need to succeed and thrive.
Beginning in kindergarten, students enjoy a wide variety of specialist programs including art, music, computers, Spanish and PE.
At Gateway Christian Schools, you will find a supportive community of faculty and staff who invest personally in each student as they grow academically and spiritually. Our goal is to partner with parents not only in their students` educational endeavors, but also in the development of their children's faith in practical ways. Spiritual education is fostered through Bible classes, scripture memorization, and weekly chapels.
With biblical principles integrated into all areas of curriculum, each student is invited to develop a Christian worldview that celebrates a personal God who created us, loves us and calls us to follow Him.
Community service and missions work opportunities teach our students to expand their view beyond their hometown, and the need for Christ throughout the world.
Our quarterly character awards help students learn to emulate and celebrate Christian values. For more information, please visit www.gatewaychristianschools.org.

My four kids have attended GCS over the past 10 years and I can't say enough about this school. The teachers are some of the best around - since the class sizes are so small the teachers really get to know their students. Each child is encouraged to challenge their educationally and be better than humans. I would recommend this to any parent looking for an alternative to public school, smaller classes, strong education opportunities and a family community for not just the students but the parents too!

We are new to the area and have had our child in for a year. It is hard to imagine how a school could get better. The teachers, the administration and the staff are remarkable. You can tell this is a place where there are Christian values. Best choice we could have made.
