Holy Redeemer Catholic School

Holy Redeemer Catholic School offers to Catholic families a rigorous academic curriculum within a caring Catholic community and school environment.
Animated by the Word of Our Lord through prayer, example, and action we maintain an academic expectation of excellence for all students and teachers.
A structured sequential curriculum leads our students through a planned process of learning and understanding from early reading proficiency and comfort with numerical systems to the inferential, abstract, deductive and inductive reasoning necessary to become effective problem solvers and life long learners.
Academic support through this process is provided by in-school resource specialists supported by evaluative data collected on site as well as from outside, community practitioners as indicated by student performance and success.
Academic success is measured against national standards within subject areas and evaluated through varied and appropriately authentic assessment.
Classroom observation, quizzes, teacher constructed tests, individual and small group interactive projects and demonstrations, performance evaluation including self evaluation as well as traditional assessments of written assignments and verbal presentations are among the evaluative methodologies applied at all grade levels.

We absolutely LOVE Holy Redeemer! We have been a part of the community for nearly 7 years and all three of our kids love going to school and love their teachers. The staff is amazing and the community is wonderful. Our kids are inspired and challenged to be the best version of themselves by the staff and their peers. We have no doubt our kids are getting an extraordinary academic and religious education. We are grateful!

There are so many reasons we choose Holy Redeemer and we are glad we did. The academics are outstanding (awarded Blue Ribbon twice for a high achieving school); they offer foreign languages; they have a stream lab, and their teachers are all 100% state certified. HR is a great well rounded catholic school and community!

I currently have my son in fourth grade and we love school and faculty, the way they teach children, not only academics, but they introduce children to the best of life, good manners, spiritual love, respect and much more that is what we are looking for our children, I am very blessed to have my son here in Holy Redeemer. After several years in public elementary school we realized our kids were not getting the academic education we expect. They seemed to be getting pushed through the system and not being challenged or encouraged. After doing research all over the area and visiting over 10 private schools, we ended up picking Holy Redeemer. We couldn't have asked for a better school for our kids. The teachers are amazing educators, and great people in general. They are proactive and encourage students to do their best. They prepare their students at a high level on academics, study skills, and organization. I have no doubt they will be well prepared for high school.

Love, Love Holy Redeemer!!! I can't say enough wonderful things about the amazing administration. The environment is so loving & nurturing while providing a really strong academic foundation. They also have homework support M-F for grades 5-8 (no extra charge) which is a lifesaver! My daughter comes home happy & relaxed with most of her homework completed. Excellent extracurricular activities/after-school programs.

We have been part of the HR family for 8 years since our daughter started in kindergarten. The strong community and feeling of "home" is amazing. We have seen our daughter grow not only academically but spiritually and gain confidence in who she is as a person. She is challenged every day and has reaped so many benefits from the curriculum and her peers. We love HR!!

Our 3 children had been in HR. We don't have enough good words for the school. They have a perfect balance of caring, structure, academics and values. They feel at home there. All the teachers, directors and staff are amazing. They know every child and give them exactly what they need. Our 2 older children transitioned easily to excellent High school. We have lived in different towns and by far HR is the best school ever.

We have been a part of the Holy Redeemer family for 3 years now and that's exactly what it feels like, a family. My expectations have been exceeded in the areas of academics, personal development, religious development, community service and social events. The teachers are outstanding, caring and always available and responsive.

Holy Redeemer has been a part of our family since our son started school there in 2009. Our daughter is currently in 6th grade. I can't stress enough how this school has challenged our children to reach their full potential in academics, character and faith. Holy Redeemer has surpassed our expectations, our children have been well prepared for each chapter of their education and we can't thank principal Mrs. Schell, teachers and staff enough!
