School Notes

  • Learn Star Academy is a 100% online adult high school created exclusively for learners age 18 and older. The school is accredited by the Middle States Association Commissions on Elementary and Secondary Schools (MSA-CESS) as a component school of Excel Education Systems, Inc. Learn Star provides adults who have not yet earned a diploma with a flexible, supportive path to completing high school on their own schedule. Students can enroll and begin classes any day of the year. There are no set class times, allowing learners to study around work, family, and other responsibilities. Students complete accredited high school courses online and graduate with an accredited high school diploma and official transcript—not a GED equivalency. Learn Star Academy offers two diploma pathways: the 21.5-credit Career Ready program and the 24-credit College & Career Prep program. Eligible credits from official prior high school transcripts may be reviewed for transfer, while students complete at least 6.0 credits directly through Learn Star Academy. Tuition begins at $99 per month for the Career Ready program. Every student has access to academic and success coaching, self-paced online coursework, and BRYTE, Learn Star Academy’s 24/7 AI-powered tutor. Learn Star is built for working adults, parents, career changers, and anyone ready to finish high school and move forward toward employment, training, college, or personal goals.
