Livingstone Adventist Academy is a Seventh-day Adventist church school located in Salem, Oregon, which provides a Christian educational program for students in kindergarten through twelfth grade.
Our school is one of more than forty Adventist schools directed by the Oregon Conference of Seventh-day Adventists.
These schools serve over 3,000 students ranging in age from preschool children to seniors in high school or "academy".
Learning should be meaningful and interesting. To the casual observer, our curriculum focus is a traditional one.
We teach what children have been taught for years. Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, Health, Practical Arts, Physical Education, Music and of course, Bible, make up our courses of study in Kindergarten through 12th Grade.
A more careful observation, however, reveals that we are taking the "traditional" and teaching in nontraditional and even more effective ways.
