My eighth grade daughter just transfer to LSG from public school and she is happier going to school than she was in a long time . Staff and teachers are dedicated and friendly. She is studying and learning a lot more than before and enjoying every minute of it! The holistic teaching aproach works wonders.

Incredible, that's the way I feel about the changes in my son since enrolling at LSG. The small classroom size, teacher and parent involvement, non-traditional learning are just a few of the things my son loves about LSG. Fun field trips, off-site lunches, guest speakers, and variety of clubs are some of the things that make the school great. His grades are more consistent, and his positive social awareness is amazing to observe. This school has really changed our lives in a very positive manner.

When our daughter had reached her sophomore year in our local , overcrowded, public high school, she had reached the point of refusing to attend on a regular basis despite her best efforts to overcome the daily anxiety she was feeling. She told us that it wasn't the academics that were causing her angst but the daily environment she was learning in. After exploring the options the public school could offer her and comparing local private schools, we arrived at Loudoun School for the Gifted this past November. They invited our daughter to shadow for a few school days. After 2 days at LSG we saw almost physical change in our daughter and she knew instantly she was meant to be at this school. The warm, inclusive, friendly and dedicated staff have been invaluable to our family. We now feel like our daughter's last 2 1/2 years of high school will prepare her for making a very informed college choice ,bring back her confidence in the education process and finish high school with great pride in herself.

This is an excellent school for the self-motivated and curious child who thrives in a smaller classroom setting. Teachers are engaged with students and students learn at their individual pace. The environment is supportive and encouraging. The students are not just taught core subject matter but how to research and analyze what they learn. Learning is project based and also predicated on the students'' interests. An outstanding school!
