Excellent student/teacher ratio. A warm, caring environment. A great foundation to develop curiosity and the love of learning.

An excellent option for a Montessori education in Syracuse. They care about your child as an individual and help your family find educational solution that works in a practical sense, as well. Love the way my child has been able to decide what she has an interest in and how that curiosity has been cultivated by her teachers.

We love this school! The teachers are amazing. Our son is excited to attend every day and loves the sense of ownership he has with keeping up with the "jobs" he is assigned weekly. He loves getting his new book each Monday to take home for the week and is always proud of the work he brings home. The teachers are so kind and not only have a great curriculum but also include life skills like kindness and inclusion in their style. Highly recommend Montessori Discovery!!

We love MDS and are thrilled with my daughter's experience here. As a Montessori certified teacher, and a Montessori student myself, I was adamant that the school we chose would be welcoming, with experienced, kind staff, and have a true commitment to Montessori principles. I also, however, needed the school to be a good fit for my daughter-an incredibly smart, independent, and wonderful child, but one who had never been in a "formal" school or daycare setting before. Her transition was wonderful, although not without a few bumps; bumps the teachers helped her through with ease and care. The teachers here are incredible, the environment is perfectly curated to meet the needs of the students, and our experience here has been 11/10. My daughter asked to go to school EVERY day of winter break-she loves this place as much as we do! They have created a safe, loving environment where my daughter feels comfortable learning and taking risks. Her social, emotional, and academic growth so far this year (her first year) is beyond words. Cannot endorse this place enough!
