Saint Mark's High School offers each student a unique blend of academics, arts, athletics, co-curricular activities, college scholarship opportunities, affordability and excitement, creating a high school experience that is unparalleled in the area. The private campus is spectacular with over 45 acres of land, situated just off Kirkwood Highway, minutes from Newark and easily accessible from Routes 1 and I-95.

Our co-educational program features three academic levels and a comprehensive Advanced Placement program, along with a partnership with the University of Delaware, College of Health and Sciences. With the assistance of our guidance and college placement counselors, more than 97 percent of Saint Mark's graduates attend college, of which many are awarded scholarships and grants to the school of their choice.

Continual improvements to our facilities and technology keep Saint Mark's on the cutting edge. This summer we will be putting in a new track! We have been recognized both regionally and nationally for our leadership not only in teaching technology, but for also integrating it into our curriculum, empowering students to be better learners who are able to work in increasingly technology-dependent environments.

Saint Mark's remains one of the most affordable private or Catholic high schools in the area, and we are committed to helping parents afford an outstanding education for their children. In addition to providing in excess of $1.5 million in need-based financial aid every year, we also offer academic scholarships to entering freshmen based on their performance on the Entrance Test.

Since our first graduating class in 1973, Saint Mark`s graduates have been encouraged to "go forth from this school to create a better world more pleasing to God and more helpful to others." Through rigorous academic offerings, competitive athletic programs, engaging arts programs and immersive service opportunities, our students learn to be confident leaders and active participants, fully prepared to meet success in the college classroom as well as throughout their careers.

We invite you to come to Saint Mark's and experience our very special feeling of belonging. For more information, please call 302.757.8721 or visit our website at www.stmarkshs.net.

What an amazing college-preparatory high school. We have a senior that just graduated from this great school and earned a full academic scholarship to a nationally ranked university. We also have a freshman just starting her high school journey at Saint Mark's. We couldn't ask for a better experience for our children and our family as a whole. The students are amazingly well prepared for the next steps in their education upon graduation. We have found the environment to be safe, welcoming and effective. The beautiful campus is unequaled in the state of Delaware and the number of clubs and organizations available for the students to join or even start from scratch is larger than any of the other schools that we looked at before our family decided to attend St. Mark's. The school also excels in its ability to serve students from all academic needs from its Emmaus program designed for students that can benefit from extra assistance with the learning process all the way through its Saint John Neumann Scholars Program and many levels in between. The co-ed experience and the Catholic values were a big plus for us which have proven to be extremely beneficial in the total overall experience. I can't say enough about how well this school has benefited our family and can highly recommend it to anyone looking for an overall solid well rounded high school experience.

St. Marks has provided my daughter with an exemplary education. Foundational skills such as service, leadership, and integrity are equally important in the day to day environment. When we were looking for the right high school fit our family focus was making sure college preparation was at the forefront. Not only did we find and learn that this was apart of the package but the student, faculty, and staff all embody the passion and drive every day to be great humans and successful in everything that`s ahead. I am thankful that my daughter has an exceptional place to live out her spartan years and know that she will be set up for success in moving into college. She enjoys school every day and comes home excited to talk about her experiences. Looking for high schools is certainly a personal choice but I highly recommend St. Marks High School. Sign up for a shadow day, you won't regret it!

I attended in the mid 80's. The school provided room to grow and mature in an enlightening and engaging environment. They help transform children into young adults who are thoughtful and compassionate. I didn't realize what a gift my parents gave me till later in life. I am privileged, now I can give back.
