St. James provides an outstanding environment for our children to learn and thrive. The faculty and staff nourish the whole child both spiritually and academically. Our children are exposed to the highest level of learning through the accelerated curriculum, integrated technology, stem lab, and religion. We credit their happiness and love for school because of the safe, loving and nurturing environment in which they learn and play. Our children come home smiling and full of enthusiasm each day as they share their experiences with us. This is a blessing to witness as parents!

My oldest child attended St. James from pre-k to fifth grade and I have two children currently enrolled. Based on my experiences and the experiences of my children, I can`t say enough good things about St. James. The faculty and staff are excellent and provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children and set high expectations for both academic achievement and personal conduct. St. James provides the solid foundation the kids need in order to excel academically and socially. My experience is that St. James is an environment of educating and encouraging that ensures each and every student succeeds to their highest potential. A+++

When we moved to Baton Rouge from out of state mid-school year, one of our biggest concerns was finding the right school for our children. As soon as we visited St. James, we knew without a doubt that we had found the school for us. St. James is the total package -- strong academic standards, small class sizes, and individualized attention in a loving, nurturing, inclusive environment.

St. James Episcopal Day School is an incredible institution with a long history of academic excellence and love for the whole child. The teachers and staff as well as fellow parents are kind, respectful and very involved in campus. It is an incredibly nurturing environment! We chose St. James for our three children because of these factors, and we have been incredibly happy there for the last 6 years.

This school is amazing. They instill faith without forcing it on your child like many private schools in the area do. Science class is Science class and Religion class is Religion class. The teachers and faculty are nurturing and truly care about each of the students.
