Our family has been at RSSAA for 12 years now, from kindergarten into high school. My kids have always been excited to learn and are passionate about subjects in a way that I don't see in other kids their age. The early grades are magical, gradually moving into a more intellectual space, leading to an academically rigorous high school experience. No matter the grade, though, there is a warmth in the way the kids are held and supported. The school is so welcoming and actively looks for ways to involve families and create community. I feel my entire family is welcomed, seen, and held within the RSSAA community.

This education has been excellent for my two kids. They are confident in what they've learned, sure of themselves as individuals and, most important to me, they are curious and interested in continuing to learn. They didn't get burned out on school (though, of course, they had their moments of not wanting to go, not liking a teacher, etc.). I think because all the students are expected to participate in the full curriculum, not just choose the things that interest them at that point in their lives. It really introduced them to things they wouldn't have chosen for themselves but that they found interesting, discovered they were good at and some they loved!
