Vidya Community High School

Vidya Community High School is a private, not-for-profit, independent, year-round, secular, coeducational high school serving the San Fernando and Simi Valleys.
Vidya CHS is a life-preparatory high school that prepares teens for academic rigor AND infuses them with essential life skills (or book smarts AND street smarts).
Vidya CHS leverages learners' unique learning strengths and interests to keep them actively engaged in and outside of school.
Vidya CHS emphasizes social-emotional learning to develop the whole person.
Our teachers primarily use the Socratic method and Project Based Learning (PBL) for all instruction - teachers serve more as facilitators rather than lecturers.
Vidya CHS is backed by the highly successful and experienced Maker Learning Network (MLN) team.
