Mission: Our mission is to partner with parents to
provide a Christ-centered, accredited education that is
individualized for each unique student.
Vision: We disciple each student to fulfill their purpose
and calling in becoming image-bearers of Christ for God's
glory.
Beliefs: We believe all children are "fearfully and
wonderfully made" (Psalm 139:14) and derive their value, identity,
and purpose directly from God. We believe God has given
parents the responsibility to train and educate their children
according to his principles laid out in scripture (Deut. 6: 5-7).
Our role is to come alongside parents and partner with them in this
pursuit by providing an individualized educational experience in a
safe and respectful learning environment.
We used Academy Northwest's home education extension program for both of our homeschooled daughters during their high school years. It was important for us that even though we had homeschooled, they had accredited transcripts. ANW was the perfect fit for our family because of the affordable price of the private Christan school experience, the help, and support of the professional teachers, access to the classes, and the social and scholarly programs our girls had access to (NHS, Student Board, Field Trips, social events, etc.)
