Altamonte Christian School offers a college-prep curriculum in a Christian atmosphere.
The school has two campuses providing opportunities for VPK-5th-grade students (1021 Palm Springs Drive, Altamonte Springs) and 6th-12th-grade students (601 Palm Springs Drive, Altamonte Springs) to enjoy their interests and activities at elementary and secondary program levels.
Students from VPK to 12th grade attend ACS with loving teachers who engage and challenge them in their learning and life.
VPK-5th-Grade students enjoy classes in Spanish, Art, Music, Writing, Robotics, Library, PE, and recess.
The 6th-8th Grade students enjoy hands-on learning and project-based academic experiences: Spanish, PE, financial life skills, Art, Performing Arts, Drumline, Orchestra, Worship Band, Culinary, and Robotics.
The 9th-12th Grade students learn through projects, field trips, online research, advanced placement courses, and dual enrollment courses through Trinity College of Jacksonville. Electives for 9th-12th grades include Orchestra, Culinary, Theater, Drumline, Worship Band, Art, Weightlifting, and Varsity Sports. Afterschool clubs include Brain Bowl, Athletics, Beta Club, and National Honor Society.
All students enjoy chapel, sports, plays, and musical programs.
ACS's mission, vision, and philosophy align to embrace all student learning styles, offering support from our ESE Director and service providers.
ACS provides the opportunity for 6th through 8th grade students to enroll in our RISE Program for students who require additional academic support to ensure they are working on grade level before moving on to high school. The RISE program offers a 1:10 ratio with an experienced ESE teacher.
ACS offers an international student program and welcomes students from all countries, embracing diverse cultures and family backgrounds.
