We transferred our son to Carden Academy from a top rated public school at the beginning of third grade and couldn't be happier with our decision. The school is very well managed with an impressive staff of teachers and administrators. The Carden philosophy and their teaching strategies have been extremely effective; it is easy to see why it works. In addition to a rich, well rounded curriculum, including foreign language and PE every day, the small class sizes make learning so much easier for all. We also appreciate the strong emphasis the school places on respect for others as well as yourself. We feel fortunate to be a part of such a wonderful school and highly recommend.

Go to this school. Carden of Almaden is a great school, high standards and amazing results. We have had our kids enrolled at Carden Academy at earlier campus in Santa Clara and was an easy decision to stick with Carden through search for new campus and transition to Almaden. The adminstration, faculty, and families make a great community. In addition to curiculum and standards, many other programs to participate in and grow well rounded minds. Untimately our children are most prepared for high school and continuing into higher education.

My daughter was in the Kindergarten class last year, and 1st this year, and I could not be more happy with the school. The small group work has allowed her to work at her level, and feel challenged yet supported. The special subject teachers are great. Every day I pick her up, I always ask her what was her favorite part of the day, and it is almost something different. The new song she learned in Spanish, the game they played in PE, the iPads they use on Fridays, the Alice in Wonderland song they learned in music, the drawing she made in computers, the book she picked at the library, etc. The school has a small environment and family feeling, yet has the facilities and space of a larger school. Tons of outdoor space for the kids to run around. I love that they get up to 30 minutes of playground time in the morning between drop off and start of school, plus 2 twenty minute recces times, and daily PE. The teachers and administration are very responsive. I had questions about how my daughter was doing in class, and immediately scheduled a meeting with the teacher and the director of education, where they walked through every question I had, and gave helpful suggestions on how to improve things for her. The school is so smoothly run, everything from morning drop off and pick up routine, teacher escorts from your car with umbrellas on rainy days, and special performances. We look forward to many more years at Carden Academy.

My son really enjoyed Carden for the past eight years. He enjoy the four wonderful teachers, in Science, English, Math, Computers, and Music. They gave him the essential tools of knowledge and personality to help my son be ready for high school and future.
