School Notes

  • The vision and mission of Charlotte Preparatory School are focused on successfully preparing students for their future. Academy curriculum and learning activities are designed to teach our students how to think across all content areas, to collaborate, to be socially and emotionally ready to be productive citizens and to be creative and effective in the interconnected world. Technology will be integrated into classrooms in a way that facilitates learning. We will maintain the highest standards in all of the content areas while delivering personalized education in a collaborative environment.
  • Students in Pre-K through 3rd grade experience the richness of a Montessori classroom. The Montessori Method values each child as a unique learner, supporting each child's healthy emotional and social development along with academic achievement. Students in 4th through 8th grades are enrolled in a more traditional classroom environment that promotes learners as critical thinkers and problem solvers in progressing through an accelerated high-school preparatory curriculum.
