Finding a quality preschool and a facility that will care for children is a number one priority for working parents.
It is the belief of Children's Montessori Academy that the Montessori Method provides a sensible balance between freedom and structure designed for the young child.
In doing so, Children's Montessori Academy provides a pleasant environment with carefully devised materials that meet the child's natural needs.
Furthermore, Children's Montessori Academy provides the overall guidance of a thoroughly trained directress.
In a Montessori school, your child teaches themself through their use of the specifically designed Montessori materials.
These are attractive, generally simple, child-sized materials that are self-correcting; that is, if a child makes an error, they can see it by looking at the materials themself.
In this way, no adult is needed to point out their mistakes and perhaps injure their self-esteem.
Your child learns to work alone and with others in a Montessori school.
They can usually make this choice themself.
They learn to follow the class "ground rules", and may often remind other children to follow them as well.

Wonderful school. I sent 2 of my children to this school. The teachers are wonderful, especially Ms B. I would recommend this school to anyone looking for more than babysitting.

This school is such a blessing. I am Great Grandmother but I have custody of a preschooler. She has had a lot of stress and trauma in her life. After meeting with staff there, I knew this was the place for her. She loves the school and all the teachers. She has learned so much, I know she will be ready for Kindergarten this fall. Their Love and Compassion for each child is obvious. Mrs. Cunningham is the Best.

I have 3 children in CMA and we love it! They love school and they love to learn! That's a big difference from the traditional school way my husband and I were raised and both of us had major learning issues with school. To have our children loving to learn is such a beautiful gift from such an early age!
