Gateway Academy

Gateway Academy has been my children's second home. Our children have attended Gateway since preschool. Gateway Academy is an exemplary school. One important feature of Gateway is its ability to provide a safe environment. It does not only provide physical safety for my children, but also emotional safety from other children in school. This is possible because the school fosters spiritual and character development. The ultimate reason I chose Gateway to any other school in Staten Island is the value that it gives to each and every student's spiritual development. I am blessed that Gateway has provided my children with an opportunity to learn about God and develop a strong spiritual foundation. Gateway is also a school that offers not just spiritual development but also academic excellence. I am very grateful that I have entrusted my children to a school with loving, skilled, and dedicated teachers who always go the extra mile to ensure that my children reach their highest potential in all aspects of their lives. I also love Gateway's music and sports program. My children have taken part in Gateway's shows and sports activities. Their experiences on stage and on the field have enhanced their God-given talents and abilities and served as a good training ground for building confidence and physical development, respectively. True to its mission, Gateway has continually strived to assist us in equipping our children with all of its exceptional resources in order to glorify God.

Gateway Academy has been a blessing to our family. Our children have attended since preschool and the academics, teachers and facilities are of the highest quality. Gateway Academy has provided a safe and loving learning environment for our children. The academics are excellent and encourages the students to excel. The teachers are experienced, hardworking and very supportive to the students My children have also been a part of the Christmas and Spring shows which have always delivered outstanding performances.

My daughter has attended Gateway Academy since she has been 3 years old-she is now in the 6th grade. I absolutely love the school and the staff. It has been a pleasure to see my child grow at this school-academically, emotionally, spiritually, and socially. I am so thankful for an amazing staff that just took care of her in all areas. The education she has received has been amazing. The staff has been incredible with any of her needs and really focus on seeing each child be successful. She has made lifelong friends there. It has allowed a major foundation for her future. I am thankful for Gateway Academy and proud to say we are part of the Gateway Academy family.

Gateway Academy is a school of utmost academic rigor which holistically enriches students' emotional, academic, and spiritual wellbeing. My children attended a very prestigious school prior to attending Gateway and I can say, without a shadow of a doubt, that Gateway Academy surpasses any educational experience my children have had. The children and adolescents at Gateway attending feel safe, feel loved, and cannot wait to go back to school the next day. As a parent, it is such a blessing to know that my children are in a safe place among peers and teachers who truly care about them. It is a gem in Staten Island!

If you are looking for a safe school, (with out bullying), high academic standards, that teachers and instills Christian values, this is the school for you. As a parents of a soon to be 4th grader in Sept. I couldn't be happier, when i drop my son off I have a clear head I know he is well taken care of in EVERY WAY. It's so refreshing to know they have a handle on every child in this school, everyone knows each others name and is always acknowledged. It's a ray of educational sunshine on Staten Island

I can't say enough about this hidden treasure on Staten Island! My child has been here since PreK and is currently in the Academy's Middle School. The Academy is our extended family. Everyone knows you by name and all the students look out for each other, regardless of the grade they are in. Academically, Spiritually, and Socially my child has thrived from day one. Now we just need a High School so we can continue here!!!
