Great Oaks Elementary School is a private.  Non-denominational Christian school situated in East Flatbush, a multi-cultural, multi-socio-economic community.It was established to provide a well-rounded elementary education to the many students who will enter its doors.
While it neither subscribes to nor condones discrimination of any ethnic group.
It recognizes the role we each play in shaping society, and seeks to enrich its own by providing its future leaders with a solid foundation of Christian moral principles and a thorough education in the prescribed academic subjects, with emphasis on high scholastic achievement.
Great Oaks' program comprises a positive blend of both traditional and contemporary methods of training young people.
It fosters a warm and pleasant atmosphere conducive to learning.

I have seen my child grow in all aspects of his development. This institution provides a well-rounded education. One thing I am really grateful for is the small class and Christian foundation that the school provides. There are no limits on what your child can achieve here at this institution. The education my son receives stays with him because I see that he applies whatever is taught in the classroom in all facets of his life. Extra-curricula activities are also amazing. From the steel pan orchestra to the chess team. My son is given the opportunity to develop his love for music while he climbs the academic ladder of success. I would recommend this institution of learning ten times over, it really a blessing and my son will call this place home until.
