5 I can go on and on about this school's strengths and qualities. I see the hard work and respect and education of my daughter has received here in the past year she has been at Paint Branch Montessori School. The teacher is always there for me and my questions. The diversity in staff and students is so wonderful for the world we live in. Maybe I should not tell people about this JEWEL OF SILVER SPRING!! - Posted by Parent - Mel |
5 Our son has been at Paint Branch for 3 years now. We knew it was the right place for him as soon as we went inside for a visit. Our son was ready to start the next day! He has grown and blossomed during his time here. He can already write in cursive. He takes music and Spanish classes, and he has already had some longer-term research projects. He has also been able to incorporate his artistic talents into all of his lessons, from the big bang in science to his language and social studies lessons. The staff has been so friendly and helpful as our son has grown into a maturing elementary student. I know PBMS has started our son on a path to success. I really can't say enough about how happy we are with Patrick's experience here! - Posted by Parent - Ryan W. |
5 PBMS is truly a unique family-oriented school. My son ET has been there for seven plus years and our experience has been enriching and joyful. We consider PBMS as part of our family. The teachers and staff have provided an exceptional caring and nurturing learning environment where our little boy has blossom into a respectful and responsive 10 years old. Every teacher and staff have been so nice, sweet and loving, we feel completely relaxed and confident in leaving our child in their hands. Everyone -teachers, staff, students are part of one loving family. Here, we see quiet, friendly interactions among kids and teachers; kids from primary to elementary know each other, play with each other, and help with each other; here kids learn to share, discipline and respect through role model of older kids and their caring teachers; here creative thinking are encouraged; here problem -solving skills are learned in a guided independent truth searching process. We really feel fortunate that our boy has been part of PBMS and we are grateful to our teachers and staff for their guidance and loving care. - Posted by Parent - Louisa |
5 What a delightful school! The first time we drove up to the school, our first impression was of the charming shaded playground with wooden structures and surrounding fence. Ms. Sudarma, Ms. Hamdi, Mrs. Grover, Rebecca, and everyone there is so kind, so sweet, and so devoted to the individual development of each child, both psychological and also academic. We were amazed at our much our LO learned in that year and deeply valued the diversity and community of the teachers, staff, and students and the wealth of experience of the teachers. He also learned manners and the importance of picking up (makes a 2yo easier to live with!), and both teamwork and independent play. They have integrated Spanish into their program, and offer after care special programs such as dance and soccer. We cannot recommend this school highly enough. - Posted by Parent - Ruth M. |
