School Notes

  • The educational campus of Ready Set Grow has been proudly serving children of New Albanyand the surrounding communities since 2000.  Located directly next to the New Albany K-1 building, Ready Set Grow is a privately owned, highly secured, 3-building school that exceeds state standards in all programs.
  • Ready Set Grow is selective when choosing teaching staff to fulfill the needs of the children.  Several teachers hold degrees in Education or a related field.  The staff is also trained in CPR, First Aid, Communicable Disease, and Child Abuse Prevention.
  • The climate of Ready Set Grow is fun, loving, educational, and nurturing.  Children ages 6 weeks to 12 years of age are welcome to enroll in our exciting journey of learning.  The children at Ready Set Grow stay active and engaged throughout the day.  Parents of infants find fulfillment knowing that their little one is receiving love and nurturing during this important time of growth and development.  Toddlers are also busy with hands on learning and activities that foster their curiosity and energy.
  • The rotation of our preschool sets us apart and keeps the children highly motivated to come to Ready Set Grow day after day.  Every 45 minutes throughout the day, the children rotate with one homeroom teacher to math, language arts, science/social studies, art, music, and gym.  Children also receive phonics instruction in small groups based on their individual skill level.  This highly structured program has resulted in an outstanding acceptance rate of our preschool graduates into private schools.
  •  Without a doubt, the All Day Kindergarten program at Ready Set Grow is best of the best when it comes to quality curriculum, developmentally appropriate instruction and talented teaching staff.  Kinder Wrap at Ready Set Grow is an extension of the New Albany Kindergarten program, which also receives excellent reviews.  Last but not least, the School Age program at Ready Set Grow provides the children with time to do their homework as well as relax with friends after school.
  • We are proud to support and participate in local charities and events as well as sponsor our own seasonal Ready Set Grow events.  We love seeing so many families sharing smiles together at the Holiday Concert and Family Fall Festival.
  • Ready Set Grow goes above and beyond when it comes to making memories in the life of a child.  The children have opportunities all year round to gain confidence, build friendships and gain life skills.
