Resurrection School

Resurrection School Photo #1 - We are fortunate to have a spacious 10-acre campus. Our school soccer and flag football teams use this field to practice and play other school teams. The track is used for the track and field team and it is part of our annual Walk-A-Fun course.
  • Resurrection School is a Catholic elementary school located in Sunnyvale, California, in the heart of Silicon Valley.
  • The school draws from a multi-ethnic mix of students, providing an opportunity for a Catholic education to the children of our parish and the community at large.
  • We offer before and after-school extended care. Our curriculum supports Transitional Kindergarten (4 year olds) through eighth grade. Children enrolling in our Transitional Kindergarten program must be 4 years old on or before September 1st of the school year they are applying to and those entering Kindergarten must be 5 years old on or before September 1.
  • Arrangements for tours of our school can be made throughout the year by calling (408)245-4571 or emailing us at
  • Resurrection School seeks to develop each student's lifelong moral and intellectual foundation by nurturing every child's unique potential, spiritually and academically, in a Christ-centered, peace-filled, and family-involved environment.
  • We follow the four pillars of a Catholic education: Faith, Knowledge, Leadership, and Community. We believe parents are the primary educators in the formation of their children's Christian values, and the teachers and staff of the school support, enhance and complement this role.

School Reviews

Great school and very pleased to have chosen Res to enroll our son and hopefully our other children when the time comes. We like the academic program and faith based values. As parents we like that the school campus is gated and safe campus environment overall. The teachers and staff very helpful and keep Res community well informed. Carlos C.

As the COVID-19 virus spreads throughout the United States, we look at steps schools and parents can take to protect themselves from this highly contagious virus.
Our children's education is a critical concern. That's why we elected to send our kids to private school in the first place. However, this COVID-19 virus is controlling everything. And it will continue to do so indefinitely until we have vaccines to protect us. With that in mind, here are five things you need to do when you are a parent with children in private school during this horrific pandemic.
Now that school has safely reopened, what can we parents do to support and encourage the schools we care about so much?
