We moved from out of state to Atlanta, and when touring schools, we were amazed by the beautiful campus and the warmth of the teachers, admin staff, and children during the observation. If you are seeking a school that teaches your child the love for learning, builds confidence for seeking challenging work, and instills kindness—this is the place for you. We have now experienced the toddler, primary, and lower elementary programs and are so pleased to have found Springmont—both our kids are thriving academically, socially, and emotionally.

Sometimes parenting feels like a series of well-intended blunders, but choosing Springmont stands out as the best parenting decision we ever made. Our child is both gifted and challenged. The faculty know him well and tailor their interactions with him to promote his optimal development and teach him how to deal with the inevitable disappointments of life.

Our two children have been through the range of programs from toddler through eighth grade. From the moment we visited the lovely campus 10+ years ago, Springmont felt different. Young kids handling real work with self-control, teachers guiding with practical Montessori tools, and even some pet goats and chickens to give the place more life. While every classroom is unique, we're especially impressed with how the middle school helped us manage not just academic growth but adolescent growth. Teamwork and social/emotional success are a focus here, and tech takes a backseat, which we love.Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great Montessori-based education that prepares kids to be learners and change-makers in a complex world.

We have been at Springmont for 3 years now. In that time, I've seen my child's love of learning flourish. The guides have been exceptional at following his interests to integrate STEAM skills. In addition to my confidence in the academic teaching, I will say that in our time at Springmont, there have been a few staff changes that affected us- at the Head of School level and at the classroom level. Staff change is a natural part of any organization and I am impressed with how well Springmont takes care of each other! During both of these transitions the school kept parents abreast of changes, and was open to questions and comments. The process was held transparently and seamlessly from my perspective. It did not affect my child or the approachability of the school in the least. Being part of this community for these early childhood years has been a blessing for our family to help our kiddo learn and grow.

The teachers at Springmont truly care for the students and I cannot ask for a better parent community here. Springmont has the nicest parents and all of the parents are so supportive and inclusive.

Our daughter has been at Springmont since 18-months when she joined the Toddler Program. She has grown and developed into a more spectacular little person because of Springmont. Not only is she so smart, but she has learned how to have a meaningful impact on a community by exercising kindness and compassion. She has so much pride in her accomplishments and independence. While all of Springmont's teachers are superb, Miss Zaiba is extra special and our family is so grateful for the impact she's had on our daughter's growth and what she has taught me about being a more present parent.

I can't say enough about the impact Springmont has had on not only our kids' lives, but also on our entire family. We live in a great public school district and had assumed we would stay at Springmont only for toddler / pre-K years. However, as we have learned more about Montessori and seen how our kids are thriving in this environment, we decided to stay (our kids are in the elementary program) and are so thankful we did. Our kids LOVE school - so much so that our daughter was in tears on the last day of school before summer break, and was literally counting the days until school started back over the winter holiday. In this age of AI, the Montessori approach emphasizes and strengthens capabilities that I believe are going to be critical in the future - fostering curiosity and a true love of learning, critical thinking skills, emotional intelligence, independence and self-reliance. At Thanksgiving we went around and shared things we were thankful for, and Springmont was up there with our health, family, and friends. The Landschool is also an incredible part of the Springmont experience, giving the kids the opportunity to spend time in nature and appreciate the outdoors. So thankful we found Montessori and the Springmont community!
