St. Luke's Episcopal School

St. Luke''s is such a wonderful school but more than that, it is a community of loving and involved teachers and parents. This is our daughter''s fourth year at this school and each year has been more magical than the last. Her teachers each year continue to amaze us as they foster a love for learning (and in a fun and different way) and a love for God in everything they do. We love that not only is she getting a stellar education but learning important lessons in life on how to be an all around better person and Christian all starting with Chapel in the mornings. This school really nurtures all ages and helps each child flourish individually. Our daughter gets in the car happy each day after school ready to tell us how and what she learned! We love that SHE LOVES her school. The diversity of activities and sports has been amazing from Clay Club to Mahjong to Basketball! St. Luke''s is truly HOME. Walk around and just see, happy students & happy teachers what more can you ask for?

St. Luke's Episcopal, or as my son called it in Kindergarten - Saint Luke's Epic-School, is an incredibly special place. My wife and I spent the first 4 years of our child''s life looking at schools. We agonized over the choice because this is our one and only child, and we want to give him the best elementary experience that he can receive. We''ve cruised through kinder and are in first grade with every sign pointing to St. Luke''s being the perfect fit. Our child is THRIVING at the school. He does well academically, and the school does such a good job of both keeping up with him and grounding him. It''s an amazing balancing act to watch, and the staff and administrators do it so effortlessly. It''s a faith-based school, which only made it a better choice as that''s important to my wife and I. The school really shines in the kids'' attitude. Kindness and respect are as important as chapel, math, reading, or art. Our son has made friends with, as far as I know, every kid in his class and grade. You can eat lunch with your child on their birthday at school, and we went to the cafeteria to meet him. As we sat at the table, a steady stream of kids walked by our table to tell our son "Happy Birthday" and meet us. Teachers and staff came by to chat for a few minutes, and I did not see one single child sitting by themselves or even looking anything other than completely happy. It is such a friendly, welcoming place that is simultaneously supportive and challenging. We are very grateful that we found this school and look forward to many more years at St. Luke''s.

Trying to find the words to express how much St. Luke''s means to my family is difficult because since the moment we walked in to tour, we have felt at home & there has been no other place I would consider sending my children. From the beautiful campus to the welcoming faces who greet my children every day, everything about SLES makes it my children''s happy place. I know that from the moment I leave them in the morning to when I pick them up, they are safe, loved, and learning in a welcoming, Christian environment. My children''s names are known, as are their unique personalities. The administration has been a joy to work with from the beginning, SLES is truly a treasure.

My daughter has been attending St. Luke's for 6 years and it has been a wonderful school for our family. Each day begins with Chapel and the academics are challenging in a nurturing, supportive environment. She has had opportunities to participate in meaningful community service opportunities, she takes several wonderful dance classes on campus and the teachers are the best! I highly recommend St. Luke's!

This is our first year at the school and we have been blown away by how much effort the school puts in to welcoming new families. I have had many conversations with several parents who have had their kids there for years and their feedback is always positive. As far as our PreK experience I have observed that my child's teachers are very committed to provide the best educational experience for our kids. They take their jobs very seriously and foster the joy of reading in the children, which I really like. The parent community is very respectful, and everybody strives to be cordial to one another and there is an intentional effort to keep it this way. I am grateful that my daughter gets to go to school here every day, and my husband and I are grateful we found such an amazing community.

My daughter is in PreK-3 and she absolutely LOVES St. Luke`s Episcopal. She calls it "the happy school". She used to cry whenever I dropped her off at her old school but that has never happened since she started at St. Luke`s. I live in a very good school district but I will keep her here. I just know that they will love my daughter and teach her good values.

St. Luke's has been an excellent environment for my child. She has been a student there for more than 5 years and is thriving. The classroom size has allowed her to grow her knowledge and confidence. The school has allowed her many opportunities I don't think she would have experienced at a public school. She has participated in public speaking opportunities at least annually, sports teams at school, acolyting, televised school news among other things.
