My husband and I sent our three children to St. Norbert, from kindergarten through eighth grade. Our kids learned their reading, writing and ''rithmatic in a safe and engaging environment and their learning took place in a Catholic space. Religion is more than a subject taught daily from a textbook. Catholic teachings from qualified educators guide students through every day. From the traditional prayers (Hail Mary, Act of Contrition, Memorare, Angelus, etc.), to recognition of students for treating others as they wish to be treated, to lessons of saints on their feast days, teachings of our Catholic faith are woven through each day. Each of our children were accepted to and attended a college-prep Catholic high school with honors, and enjoyed a smooth transition from junior high, maintaining strong grades into high school. Indeed, each of them was prepared beautifully and have excelled academically. Our kids celebrated their sacraments in this community (First Holy Communion, First Reconciliation, Confirmation), were given a strong intellectual foundation at this school, and continue to enjoy a social life in this parish community
