  • The Westminster Academy community is composed of approximately 900 students from two years of age through twelfth grade who worship at over 150 different churches.

  • Basketball State Championship 3-Peat! - 03/18/2019 - While coming home with the State Championship Title for the third year in a row was enough to celebrate, the awards for WA Basketball keep coming.

    The Florida High ...moreSchool Athletic Association named WA senior Chase Johnston the 4A Men`s Basketball Player of the Year. Chase`s accomplishments this year on the court include breaking a few records. First, he scored 52 points in a single game at the Montverde Academy Invitational, breaking the previous record held by Ben Simmons who is now a professional basketball player. Then, Chase set a new national high school boys` record for alltime career 3pointers. He ended his high school career with a total of 546 3pointers for his career.

    The Florida High School Athletic Association also named WA Men`s Basketball Coach, Ehren Wallhoff, the 4A Coach of the Year for the third consecutive year. This award came after leading the Lions to their third straight state championship. Westminster Academy is only the second school in Broward County to accomplish this feat in Men`s Basketball.

As a family we have all been very happy at WA. I feel high school is preparing them well for college in many ways, not just academically. They provide a good balance for the students. This year WA did get a new Headmaster. We look forward to many good things and a even stronger future for WA.

I am a parent who has a 2010 graduate and a current high schooler. Westminster Academy has been an excellent Christian school that has provided both my sons a very well rounded College Preparatory education, along with opportunity to be well rounded through leadership, music, and athletics.

Our son has been at Westminster for both summer camp and Pre-K2 and we have been very happy with the school. We highly recommend it to any parent looking for a warm, caring environment for their young children.
