The City of Riverside's Public Works Department and the Greater Riverside Chamber of Commerce awarded Woodcrest Christian School the 2012 Beautification Award for our care and upkeep of our 30 acre campus.
Our campus houses over 30 academic and arts classrooms in addition to our administrative buildings.
Located at a higher elevation in Riverside, California, our campus enjoys the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and community.
Our top quality athletic field is home to our soccer, cross-country, and track and field teams. It is situated adjacent to our professional grade baseball stadium.
The Charles O. White Royals Pavilion hosts our basketball and volleyball teams as well as our weekly student body chapels and other events.
Of our many classrooms, we have a safety certified biology/chemistry lab with stations and tools that aid our students with hands on learning.
In 2011, our computer lab was completely remodeled with individual stations and new computers. Our classes not only teach computer skills, but also computer mechanics and internet safety.
From middle school to high school sports, we produce champions! In each of the 11 sports we offer, both guys and girls teams have earned many division championship awards. Several of our athletes have received scholarships and continue playing their sport while furthering their education at colleges and univesities.
WCS enrollment is approximately 540 students. Our middle school and high school classes are divided by our athletic fields and lunch area, ensuring that we maintain two separate and distinct campuses.
WCS offers opportunities to participate in the arts including one of three performing choirs, drama class, drama club, art classes, and our student led worship team.
  • Welcome to Woodcrest Christian School. Our mission is to Glorify God by Pursuing Christ Centered Academics.
  • Our expected school-wide learning results are that graduates will demonstrate Christ-centered Wisdom, Character, Stewardship, and Service.

School Notes

  •      Woodcrest Christian School (WCS) provides a ministry of Christ-centered Academics for grades 7-12 that is evangelical, interdenominational, co-educational, and college-prepatory.  The WCS faculty instructs and trains students in Godly wisdom, Christian character, responsible stewardship, and unselfish service.  The core of every academic subject is founded on Jesus Christ, "in whom are all treasures of wisdom and knowledge." (Colossians 2:3)  The academic program provides a curriculum that meets or exceeds the entrance requirements of Christian colleges and universities and the University of California.
  •   Located on its 30- acre campus in the City of Riverside, WCS was opened in 1973 as an extension of our elementry campus, Riverside Christian Day School (K-6) which was founded in 1948.  These schools form the Woodcrest Christian School System (Kdg.-12).

I have two children at Woodcrest Christian school. My wife and I have been truly blessed by our experience there. The teachers and staff show an unparalleled interest in the success of the students. They provide the skills needed to excel in higher education. All of this while cultivating a Christ centered growth of personal responsibility and service to others.Brent d`Arc, MD
