School Notes

  • As a school, CIAS' purpose is to provide parents with the structured organization and benefits of a school, but at the same time enabling them to give their children the benefits of Biblical home education. We provide support and counseling to families who want to develop a love of God in their child(ren), obedience to His Word, strong moral character, and an appreciation of physical labor and diligent study habits. We want to encourage parents to prepare their children for future responsibility and ministry. The Scriptures clearly teach that parents are directly responsible for the education of their children and accountable to Him for their choice of education of their children. We believe in the freedom of parents to choose the best curriculum and teaching methods for their own children. The ministry of teaching by those outside of the home, though a Scriptural and valid ministry, can never assume the parental responsibility of education.

My Daughter attended the Christian Institute of Arts and Sciences for all four years of high school. This school was the best decision we could have made for her. This staff provided positive structure to her and gave her the confidence she needed to succeed academically and live by God's word. The staff showed compassion and true concern for her future academically as well as personally in a gentle and caring way.

CIAS has provided a great resource for us in transcript management. We have lived in several different countries and CIAS has been able to accumulate credits from different schools/life experiences to fulfill requirements for Florida High School completion. Mary Beth provides a solid source of information when it comes to questions concerning what classes to enroll in and curriculum that challenges each of my children. I value the help CIAS has provided to our family.
